It's natural to have questions before stepping into something new.
I've gathered a few of the ones I'm asked most often in the hope they'll help you get a feel for this space, how I work, and what you can expect.
If you're still wondering about something after you've had a look around, you're always welcome to reach out.
Pull up a chair.
Here are a few answers to the questions I hear most often.
A Few Things You May Be Wondering
How do I know if this is a right fit?
If you’ve spent time exploring this website and something inside you keeps whispering,
“This feels different.”
…that’s usually worth listening to.
There’s no pressure to book.
Take your time.
Read.
Reflect.
Sit by the fire for as long as you need.
When the time feels right, the door will be open.
Is this therapy?
No.
While my work is deeply informed by psychology, nervous system awareness, trauma, and holistic wellbeing, it is not psychotherapy or a replacement for mental health treatment.
Instead, I offer a compassionate space for reflection, self-discovery, and personal growth that complements the work many people are already doing.
Is this a spiritual practice?
It can be, if that’s meaningful to you.
Many of the conversations we have are grounded in psychology, nervous system awareness, mindfulness, and the shared human experience.
If spirituality is an important part of your life, there is room for that here too.
I believe healing isn’t about fitting into one framework—it’s about honouring the person in front of me.
What can I expect during a session?
Every session is unique because every person brings a different story.
Rather than following a rigid formula, I create a space where you can slow down, be fully seen, and gently explore whatever is present for you.
•Some conversations are reflective. Some are emotional. Some bring unexpected clarity.
There is no pressure to have the right words or know exactly where to begin.
We’ll simply start where you are.
What kinds of people usually find this work?
People who have spent much of their lives caring for others.
People navigating change.
People who feel deeply.
People who are tired of performing, pretending they’re okay, or carrying everything alone.
Many arrive believing something is wrong with them.
More often than not, they simply haven’t had a space where they could finally exhale.
What if I don’t know what I need?
That’s perfectly okay.
•You don’t need to arrive with a plan.
•You don’t need to have your thoughts organized.
•You don’t even need to know what questions to ask.
•Sometimes the most meaningful conversations begin with,
“I don’t really know why I’m here… I just know something needs to change.”
What happens after a session?
There isn’t a finish line.
Often people leave with greater clarity, new questions, or a different relationship with something they’ve been carrying for a long time.
Growth doesn’t happen because someone gives you all the answers.
It happens because you begin seeing yourself differently.
The conversation continues long after the session ends.
If you wish to further your journey into coherence and healing with me, there is always a space waiting for you here.
How do I prepare for an individual virtual session?
Make sure you have a private and quiet space to participate in our session. I recommend a cozy spot to lie down with a blanket, pillow or any items that make you comfortable with dim lighting.
candles, crystals, a journal or whatever else you wish to include in the space is up to you. Aside from that just bring your presence and an open mind!
